Making Space for Grief: Coptic-Bound Journal Making (Start of Series)

  • CraftStudies Studio & School 87 Maple Street Hartford, Vermont (map)

Sundays, November 1 & 15, 5pm-8pm

Join us for a creative support group for parents who have experienced pregnancy and/or infant loss. Together, we will create space to honor our experiences, our babies and/or pregnancies, and our grief through a variety of artistic processes. Sponsored by Empty Arms Vermont and CraftStudies Studio & School, this group will offer participants the opportunity to work in CraftStudies’ fiber, clay, and metals studios to create meaningful art as a way to remember, honor, and process their grief. No prior art experience is necessary. All skill levels are welcome and encouraged.

Offered free of charge by Empty Arms Vermont and CraftStudies. Donations to help cover the cost of materials and facilitation are welcome through CraftStudies Community Supported Craft Fund.
