During October, Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness month, we hold this space to remember the babies we miss and honor a journey where grief and joy coexist. Whether you had moments or months with your baby, we honor your journey and grieve as a community.
This year, we are excited to host this event at four different locations across Vermont – Roxbury, Essex, Rutland, and Brattleboro. During the evening we will decorate luminaries, enjoy snacks and drinks, hear from community members, and engage in meaningful ways to remember together.
Family, friends and children are encouraged to attend. If you are a part of the medical community and would like to participate on behalf of your patients, please do.

Personalized
Candles
We are partnering with Mountain Stone Candle (Hyde Park, VT) to provide families with a personalized candle in memory of your baby or babies. On the RSVP form, please include what should be written: “In Memory Of Timothy,” “Smith pregnancies,” “baby Smith,” etc. Please register at least one week in advance if you would like a candle.
This candle can be used during Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness month, holidays and anniversaries. On October 15, International Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day, the Wave of Light global ceremony recognizes and honors those who have experienced pregnancy or infant loss, creating a worldwide ripple of light.
Kids Activity
We will have a kids activity centered around the book “The Rabbit Listened,” which explores the power of listening to show empathy and kindness. Kids will also be able to take home a Warmie stuffed animal.
