Christine reached out to Empty Arms Vermont after she experienced a loss in January 2022. The experience revealed a whole new world of grief, isolation, and longing that she had never seen before. Most people she encountered who had not shared a similar experience could not grasp, express, or articulate her experience in a way that made her feel seen and understood. She relied heavily on her own skills as a yoga therapist to maneuver through her pain and guilt and make her way back to herself and hope. It was a solitary journey but Christine is so grateful for her training as she was uniquely supported and did not alone in her work. She is still on her fertility journey.
