When you are a family member or friend of someone in grief after a baby dies, you may wondering, “What do I say?" or “What can I do?.” Perhaps you feel this loss deeply too and don’t know how to care for your own sadness and pain. Helping someone who is experiencing pregnancy or infant loss can be confusing and propels us in a place of care we often feel ill-equipped for. We want you to know that helping in grief is a common challenge. But despite the challenge, you are huge source of support for your loved one.

Join us for a monthly discussion that explores how you, as a friend or family member, can help support someone who is grieving pregnancy or infant loss.

This group is hosted on the 2nd Monday of the month during the lunch hour, from 12pm–1pm on Zoom. Jessica Dewes (LCMHC PMH-C with The HEART Program) and Chelsea Levis (Empty Arms Vermont) will host this discussion group from the perspective of a bereaved parent and guide you through touch points of care, such as communication, rituals of remembrance, and caring for your own pain. We welcome your questions and experiences as you cultivate your own ways to extend care. This is an open group and you are welcome to attend one or many dates.
